Lilly and I took a hooky day and went to Galveston with Babcia and Pappy. At first, she was weary of the water and waves, but by the end of the day, all she wanted to do was JUMP! OVER! WAVES! MORE!
Usually Lilly doesn't like to give us credit for when she has a fun day ("I only had a little fun"), lest we feel some unfounded sense of responsibility for fun. But when we were leaving, Lilly told me "I had a lot of fun today Mom, can we go to the beach everyday?" I wish Kiddo. Right there with you.
