A quickie trip to see Gem on her birthday weekend landed us at party involving slip'n'slide (that looks ouch), jello shots and a whole lot of crossfitters. Indian food on the couch, watching movies was the perfect end. But I did learn that cake-flavored vodka with sparkling water is surprisingly good.
